Sovereign Man Asks “Are You Really Free?”

June 10th, 2011

We are told many times, we live in “the land of the free”. Most would be happy to have the rights we have compared to the more oppressive nations around the globe. I can even agree and say yes I’m glad I live here and not Saudi Arabia where I would be beaten, if not worse, for speaking so forwardly about politics and against my government. America truly does encapsulate a free zone of living where you can get away with saying what you want, thank you First Amendment…but more so unalienable rights. However I’m starting to believe that some of these liberties are questionable: Are we really free?

A reader of SovereignMan.com’s blog stated that:

As long as someone else is the true owner of most of your so-called assets, you’re just a modern day serf, just possibly dressed up in fancier clothes with whiter teeth.

So let’s look over the different things that are YOURS. How do you define yours? I personally would say if something is mine I have the power over it to do as I please. If that’s the case, maybe I’m not as free as I thought I was.

Like I said, I’m happy to be in America rather than China or Saudi Arabia where some of these actions are STRICTLY prohibited. At least in the United States you can find States that are more friendly to certain lifestyles than others (ie: New Hampshire, Idaho, Utah).

With the future right around the corner not only do our Rebels need to fight to preserve the unalienable rights we were meant to claim, we has community members, family, and good people need to help our Rebels before they have a mess to clean up in 2019.

So when the time comes to put faith back in your government make sure you ask yourself: Are you really free?

Thank you to SovereignMan Blog for the insightful writings each week!
