I Now Pronounce Today: National Audit the Fed Celebration Day!

July 25th, 2012

Today the long overdue “Audit the Fed” bill was passed by the House of Representatives with a two-thirds majority. Congressman Ron Paul, a long time warrior against the central bank, has succeeded in his final term to pass this legislation through the House – against all odds! The bill now moves to the Senate floor where many speculate that it will be “difficult” to see through.

Never say never folks. No one would have dreamed of this passing the House a few years back. Most people didn’t even have the Federal Reserve in their day-to-day vernacular. Now they do. All of these things should be celebrated. Congrats to the organizations and individuals who have put in tireless hours to achieve this step to the greater goal of ending the monopoly on our currency!

So now we celebrate while awaiting the Senate’s decision to hold a hearing as well as statements from the President. I now dub this day National Audit the Fed Celebration Day…wait can I do that? Just make up a holiday? Who cares I just did!

More to come…
