Bradley Manning Update

April 29th, 2011

Looks like he won’t be watching Silver Circle from his isolation cell in Virginia like it seemed. Thankfully Bradley Manning is making small steps to a better environment. The scrutiny from Manning supporters, following his detainment may or may not have played a huge role in his new change of scenery. Before he was isolated for 23 hours of the day and forced to strip down at different check-ins during the day. Now he has 3 hours of recreation and better living quarters.

His upcoming trial before a military court has already started on a diluted foot. President Obama, as commander and chief made remarks stating, “He broke the law.”

Rules for courts martial ban the exertion of “undue command influence.” Many supporters of Pvt. Manning have argued that his trial is now tainted because the president, the nation’s most senior commander, has pronounced judgment that Manning is guilty.

Alas, this brave young man is will still be detained for his actions involving Wikileaks and the release of 1,000′s of confidential military cables. I hope this update comes as some sort of positive news to you on this lovely Friday. Keep your ear to the ground and send us any new updates you have on the living conditions of Bradley Manning. He is an iconic figure, right next to Julian Assange, for years to come.
