National Film a Cop Day?
September 22nd, 2011Michael Allison, who’s 5 eavesdropping charges were dropped, is now free from the “inappropriate” charges police officers in IL served to the midwestern mechanic. He was working on a few cars on his own property when law enforcement officials began a dispute; Allison recorded the conversations and 4 counts of eavesdropping were brought up because of this. The other count was for bringing a tape recorder to trial.
The judge in this case has highlighted Allison’s actions as “a first amendment right,” a huge step for civil liberties. As more stories pop up around the country regarding police misconduct, the need for documentation has never been more crucial for the citizens of this country.
Prison Planet writer, Paul Watson, suggests that if activists around the country, including our Silver Circle Rebels, conducted a mass recording, on a scheduled date, of law enforcement everywhere it would make a statement. You are being watched, officers, protect and serve…do not betray and control.
So who wants to start organizing National Film a Cop Day?
