Tinfoil Tuesday: A Tinfoil Twofer from Conspiracy Con

June 5th, 2012

Buckle up because we’ve got a tinfoil twofer this week. Over the weekend I attended the 12th annual Conspiracy Con in Santa Clara, CA and had the opportunity to hear some of the strangest speakers. I gave you a teaser on Saturday with a  post about Jim Fetzer’s theory about 9/11. Today we’re going to talk about Jim Traficant’s adventures in government corruption and Kerry Cassidy’s… theory… yeah, we’ll call it a theory… that humanity is an experimental hybrid of a whole pantheon of alien races who are still meddling in human destiny. I’m going to try to be respectful, because God knows things I say seem crazy to plenty of people. But first some general observations about the Con.

There is something just deliciously ironic about a person who is offering photographs of people’s auras pontificating with incredulity about people who believe the planes on 9/11 were holograms. There was an atmosphere at the Con that everyone’s fantastic and implausible worldview was welcome, but everyone viewed the opposing worldviews and patently false and ridiculous. I thought going in that this would occur along a spectrum and whatever depth a person had gone down the rabbit hole they would view the previous step as naïve and the next step as insane, but not so at all. Instead I found a kaleidoscope of flavors of conspiracy the occasionally overlapped, but were often completely disconnected.

It was a little bit like being at a sci-fi/fantasy convention, filled with dozens of subcultures and genres, only there were no costumes and nothing was presented as fiction. I was disappointed by the serious lack of hip conspiracy T-shirts, which I was looking forward to purchasing, and instead finding that virtually every vendor was an amateur documentary filmmaker peddling tell-all DVDs.

The politics of the attendees was pretty interesting too. Any call to abolish the Federal Reserve solicited riotous applause from the entire crowd, and just about every speaker and every worldview found some way to incorporate the banking class in their list of villains, but there was also a broad sense of right and left conspiracy theorists. On the right there was your tax protest tea party patriot crowd. On the left there was your hippy crystal crunchy crowd. But one thing I found particularly disappointing was that even though everyone questioned the official story the government gave them on almost every subjection, I found virtually no skepticism of government itself. Almost everyone I spoke to, regardless of what they felt the conspiracy was, was basically saying, “we’ve got to stop the conspiracy so we can fix the government and make democracy work.” Even those for whom the conspiracy stretched into alternate dimensions and intergalactic blood feuds seemed to think that “taking our country back” was an integral part of the solution.

Jim Traficant, Former Ohio Congressman

Hearing Jim Traficant in person was of particular significance to me because he played a role in my development as an anti-Fed activist. Back when I used to read the congressional record it was Traficant and Ron Paul who most impressed me. Traficant not only called for ending the Fed, but also the CIA. So, when he went to prison on corruption charges I assumed the CIA was behind it, and I was anxious to hear him tell us about it.

His story begins with his time as an Ohio Sheriff exposing law enforcement officers and FBI agents who were being paid off by the Mob. For me personally there’s not a huge difference between law enforcement, the FBI and the Mob. In fact, in many situations I’d prefer the Mob.

In 1984 he ran for congress to expose corrupt judges and prosecutors in Ohio, but it was when he was offered an illegal campaign donation from a representative of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee that the rabbit hole opened up for him. After some checking he learned that the AIPAC rep made a similar contribution to the incumbent candidate so he refused the donation and told the AIPAC rep, “You keep your money, and I’ll keep my vote.” Once elected he refused to support foreign aid to Israel, refused to support US foreign policy in the Middle East, and refused to promise AIPAC anything they were asking him for. This triggered an avalanche of political pressure from every segment of society that had been compromised by AIPAC money, from other congressmen who refused to work with him, to media that published slanderous attacks against him, and intelligence agencies that began harassing him. He was dubbed, “The Un American Congressman” by the media, and labeled an anti-Semite.

He’d also gotten the attention of others deep inside government who began leaking classified documents to him. Documents he used to vindicate a man falsely accused of being “Ivan the Terrible,” a notorious concentration camp guard during the Holocaust. Documents exposing the heroin trade going on inside the CIA. Documents exposing the 9/11 Commission report as a cover up of government officials making millions of dollars selling weapons to terrorist groups. He even claims to know the Truth behind the Warren Report and the JFK assassination.

Like so many at this Con, Traficant’s solution is to “take back our government.” Specifically he’s advocating abolishing the Federal Reserve, abolishing the IRS and replacing the income tax with a 25% sales tax, the so called “Fair Tax.” An oxymoron if ever I heard one.

I appreciate Traficant’s ambition, and his courage in the face of corruption. But for the life of me I can’t understand how a man with such intimate knowledge of how broken the system is, who spent seven years unjustly incarcerated for trying to fix it, still has any confidence that something as inconsequential as tax reform will fix anything, or that this den of thieves has any legitimate right to collect taxes at all.

Kerry Cassidy, Founder of Project Camelot

Kerry Cassidy is the kind of high powered mutant that William S. Burroughs and Hunter S. Thompson wrote about (If you think them both having S as a middle initial is a coincidence you aren’t paying attention… there are no coincidences.) I said I’d be respectful, so the best I can do is present Kerry’s world view just as she did, without editorializing. I think you’ll see that it stands on its own.

She is the co-founder of Project Camelot, a clearinghouse of interviews with whistleblowers with top secret clearances. Kerry explains extra terrestrials, the Illuminati, mind control, the 2012 shift, Chakras, robots, reptilians and on and on. In addition to her interviews she receives, “downloads from other beings.” The rest was difficult to follow, but I’ll do my best.

So, from the beginning, human DNA is a composite of the DNA of 12 different alien races. We are hybrids created by these races as an experiment. There are two paths of enlightenment available to us, the Angelic Human path and the Robotic Superman path.

The Angelic Human path involves aligning our Chakras with our alien DNA which is called Kundalini. Such enlightened humans become “Light Warriors” activating all the special powers of the other races which are embedded in our DNA. She mentioned no longer aging, no longer getting sick, and possibly time travel, but essentially said Light Warriors have powers like the mutants in X-Men. These people, the mutants, on the path of Angelic Humanity, are Rebels, nonconformists and those exhibiting personal sovereignty. They are immune to the propaganda of culture, and possess a genetic library of mystical knowledge. The Robot Superman path is an artificial enlightenment approximated by advanced technology.

Those on the Robot Superman path have created a Skynet of artificially intelligent nano drones that fill the sky. NASA is actually a false front designed to make it appear that the space program is more antiquated than it is. The Skynet uses Facebook, Google and other social networks to identify and target the Angelic Humans. The Secret Space Program allows the alien races, at least the evil ones, to rule our planet from the 4th dimension. They control our governments, and our corporations and banking systems. We’ve already been invaded by androids and clones that walk among us but don’t have souls, and soon an army of alien-human-robot hybrids called Terminators will be launched to take control of the planet.

But there’s something we can do. During the 2012 Awakening the Earth will be bombarded by incoming highly charged particles that will result in a revolution of consciousness and activate the special gifts of everyone on the Angelic Human path.

About the Author: Davi Barker

In grade school Davi refused to recite the pledge of allegiance because he didn't understand what it meant. He was ordered to do as he was told. In college he spent hours scouring through the congressional record trying to understand this strange machine. That's where he discovered Dr. Ron Paul. In 2007 he joined the End The Fed movement and found a political home with the libertarians. The Declaration of Independence claims that the government derives its power “from the consent of the governed." He does not consent.
