House of Fire – we've got music.

House of Fire (our first teaser piece) is in the can (well…really, really ridiculously close anyway). The final render is chunkin’ away right now on our new and improved render farm.
By the way, here’s a look at our new (larger) rack set up. Currently running 4 render nodes with 1.6 terabytes of storage and lots of room for more! We’ll need it too. We’re currently estimating 20TB of storage will be needed for the full production. So, more hard drives and render nodes will be on the way in the months to come.
Back to House of Fire, we are VERY pleased to announce that we’ve secured permissions to use a kick ass song — “Reflections” — from the now-defunct metal band ! Not sure what happened to these guys, but give their album a listen…they were pretty awesome! We’re psyched to have such a high-quality piece of music for this short film.
With the music rights in hand and final render just hours away, we’re targeting a few film festivals for the premier! More news to come on that…
