Movie Mondays: Google on the Big Screen

August 23rd, 2010

Michael London’s Groundswell Productions will be producing a film based off of the book Googled: The End of the World As We Know it. That’s right, the Google dudes are going to Hollywood.

Larry Page & Sergey Brin

Google itself has become a monumental search engine that generates more ad money than any major broadcast network. The irony in fact is that I found out this news through Google. Facebook is also gathering its fair share of camera time for its upcoming film, however this movie will be covering the lives of the duo who began Google because they just simply wanted to make a better search engine.

Imagine if they put the founders of MySpace, Facebook, Google, and Twitter into a house like the “Real World” or for the most recent reality phenomenon “Jersey Shore” we’d have ourselves rating that break through the roof!
