Who doesn’t like a good SHTF movie to get your mind thinking of how to survive a more chaotic and inflationary world? For this Movie Monday, I thought an oldie but goodie – “Red Dawn.”

For the young’uns out there that haven’t seen it, you should put it in your Netflix queue today.

The film takes places in the mid 1980s in a surburban town in Colorado. One sunny day, Soviet and Cuban troops land on a local high school’s football field and proceed to invade, kill the citizenry and proceed to occupy the U.S. Luckily, a band of high schoolers with their rifles, shotguns, bows are able to hide out in the mountains nearby. They form an underground militia called the “Wolverines” after their school’s mascot. You’ll have to watch the movie or read IMDB for the rest…
