"The Bourgeois Virtues in Film and Fiction" at IHS
December 6th, 2010I’d like to send a special congrats to our Director, Pasha Roberts. He was recently invited to a weekend with other filmmakers to participate in a study and forum on bourgeois virtues in film.
A professor from University of Illinois, Professor McCloskey, writes that “the mercantile or bourgeois ethic is underrepresented in works of imaginative writing and modern media.”
The rise of and production has put Pasha in a position to be a representative of liberty-minded films and for that, Congrats Pasha! I hope more events come about to applaud your work as well as help us as a studio learn more and reach new heights as filmmakers!
