Movie Monday: A Real Movie Going Experience

January 3rd, 2011

EntertainmentWeekly.com sought out after the top theaters in the country. After observing the choices it looks like this Hollywood venue really provides the movie going experience of the ages.

As you enter this movie cineplex you might look around and wonder where your luggage is. The “departure board” and ticket kiosks gives you the sense you are in Union Station awaiting your train to…well…movie world.

1963 brought the movie going experience something larger than anyone had seen before, in the world!  The Pacific Theatres’ Cinerama Dome was built in just 16 weeks and boasts one of the most ideal big screen adventures.  It was refurbished in 2002 and seats over 800 people in this uniquely shaped space.

If you are ever in the Hollywood area, this is the place to see the latest release, although the price may seem a little steep ($14). I think we can all agree seeing the right movie in the right place can create an event like none other.
