Silver Underground Asks John Stossel about Creating Our Libertarian World
February 22nd, 2011Silver Underground was able to ask John Stossel a few questions at the 2011 International Students For Liberty Conference in Washington, DC this last weekend. Most relevant to Silver Circle was the question of where the ‘stache thinks change will come from: politics or culture? Check out the video below for the answer!
Like us, Stossel thinks that culture will be driving force behind the creation of a libertarian world. He cites Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged as a strong example of a cultural item inspiring libertarian values in people. We agree with John Stossel on the massive importance of libertarian cultural work.
After all, that is why we do what we do here at the Silver Underground. We wish other libertarians would focus on producing beauty and the artistic expression of liberty in our quest for it rather than only playing politics.
