Practice What You Preach…
April 26th, 2011…or as a matter of fact, why not just keep your big government opinion to yourself.
Robert Watson, a Rhode Island State Legislator, who has spoken against immigration and marijuana use was recently pulled over and charged with possession of marijuana.
The East Haven police in Connecticut pulled Watson over at a traffic stop because the smell of marijuana was coming from his car. Unfortunately he was in Connecticut, because recently in Massachusetts it was decided that it is no longer legal for law enforcement to pull a car over or search property because of the smell of marijuana.
However the minority leader’s words from February’s Providence Chamber of Commerce meeting, would have lead you to believe he would avoid the devil’s lettuce. But hey, I guess we all have our days:
Maybe he’ll think twice about voting against legalizing marijuana. Even he thinks it’s a non-violent drug if he isn’t facing serious charges. Hell he even thinks it’s ok to drive after smoking marijuana. Watson, now that you’ve experienced “the man’s” control over what you can and can’t put in your body you’ll be protesting with the best 4:20′ers in no time.
