In Case You Were Wondering, Trump is OUT!
May 16th, 2011“I am not ready to leave the private sector,” says the multi-billion dollar business owner, Donald Trump. Which means the years leading up to Silver Circle’s setting will not be influenced by this loud mouth. (no offense, but the man is a tad obnoxious) Sorry if some of you are mumbling *shucks* underneath your breathe.
His brief step into the ring did tremendously for his overall exposure. Trump has appeared as the front-runner in many preliminary polls, performing in either 2nd or 3rd place in states like New Hampshire and Iowa. He also has enjoyed more face-time in mainstream media than ever before. His “birther” claims last month gave him a reason to congratulate himself, not an odd behavior from this ego-tastic reality TV star. Trump claimed that because of his persistence, the birth certificate of President Obama was finally released. He’s probably right about that.
In my opinion and probably others, Trump never seriously considered a run for president, but man did he sell some empty rhetoric in a pretty package to some foolish people. This PR stunt did a great service to his reality show career, his business, and his overall image.
Imagine four years of a Trump presidency. A reality show is exactly what it’d be like. Probably frightened him just as much as it frightened a portion of the public. So long Trump and congrats on your captivating performance!
