For immediate release, August 23, 2011: Legendary heavy metal guitar player, Jon Schaffer, has more to offer than just his amazing talent on the guitar. He is also a liberty activist who has been connecting with the liberty community through a recent solo album, Sons of Liberty, that takes you on a dark ride through the Founding Father’s vision and the disastrous financial games leaders play in the world today. He’s now joining Silver Circle to spread the message and offer his talents as a musician and actor.
We are featuring Jon Schaffer in the film as well as in the soundtrack! Tomorrow in the studio we will be recording a performance of “Tree of Liberty” from his Sons of Liberty album, a featured song in Silver Circle, as well as the song of choice for the music video we’ll be producing. His involvement will not be strictly musical; he will also participate in a cameo role playing the part of Lenny Townsend (whose name may change), an impassioned author for liberty during the dark economic times of 2019.
Schaffer will be available Thursday to meet and greet with media, by appointment. He also hopes to visit activists in the Free State Project and Boston area, so activities are in the works!
