New York Comic Con Wrap Up

October 18th, 2011

So with little to no voices left we have arrived back from the fast paced, Big Apple where cosplay was at its finest. The New York Comic Convention sold out over the weekend boasting an attendance of over 90,000 people. Insanely crowded was that convention center with big names like Marvel and DC comics showing off artists and offering autographs to those who chose to wait in the insanely long lines!

I wasn't kidding about the long lines!

Silver Circle took a different approach this year and steered clear of the screaming contest (for our ear’s benefit) and instead gave away tons of prizes to our potential new audience members, had one of our sound track bands rock out in a 10×10 booth, AND screened never before seen footage to a room full of novice critics. All in all I think we’ve upped our game and we had a lot of fun doing so.

The Last Internationale was our amazing sound track band that came through to do a set for Comic Con. We attracted quite the crowd and had WAY too much fun rocking out with this group!

10x10 + Rock 'n' Roll = great fit!

We met tons of excited fans, and many have been following us since we met last year…what a great feeling! The costumes were outrageous and the enthusiasm was through the roof.

See you nerds next year!
