Nominations Open for the Zoe Award

April 20th, 2012
Zoe Taylor is the badass heroine of our upcoming animated thriller romance, Silver Circle. We should be ready to announce the locations of our theatrical release by August, but there’s going to be a sneak preview of the film at PorcFest this year. PorcFest is the annual Summer festival of the Free State Project, which is a movement of liberty activists all moving to New Hampshire to consolidate their efforts. At the screening of the film we’ll be giving out the Zoe Award for female liberty activism. Here are the details.

Nominations are now open for female liberty activists to win the Zoe Taylor Award for exceptional courage, principle and virtue. Nominees must be planning to attend PorcFest in June. Registration is now open. To nominate a female activist please include her name, city and around 300 words why she deserves the award in an email to . But time is short, so don’t delay.

Finalists will be announced June 13th and the Award Ceremony will be held Thursday, June 21st at 8pm in the Theater (formerly known as the Bingo Hall). At the event we will recognize all the nominees and present the award to the winning activist right before the movie begins.

About the Author: Davi Barker

In grade school Davi refused to recite the pledge of allegiance because he didn't understand what it meant. He was ordered to do as he was told. In college he spent hours scouring through the congressional record trying to understand this strange machine. That's where he discovered Dr. Ron Paul. In 2007 he joined the End The Fed movement and found a political home with the libertarians. The Declaration of Independence claims that the government derives its power “from the consent of the governed." He does not consent.
