V Weeks of V: Rebel Contest

April 19th, 2012

We’ve had our Rebel Poetry Contest, our Protest Sign Contest, our Silver Transaction Contest and this week we finished our Anti Fed Super Hero Contest leaving only one contest left in V Weeks of V. So if you want to win a Guy Fawkes mask, perk up because there’s only one opportunity left before we announce our PorcFest promotion, which should be awesome.

Our final contest is the Motherload. It can be as big or as small as you make it. It can incorporate all the previous contests, or none. Anything goes. Here are the details.

Parallel to all the previous contests we’ve been running our Make Me A Rebel offer where we gave a Custom Rebel Avatar to anyone who sent us a photo of themselves and a short explanation of what makes them a Rebel. We took their photo and used it to Photoshopped them into a Rebel. Check out  and  for examples. Now we want to take that offer and blow it wide open.

We’ll still be making custom avatars for anyone who sends us a photo, so everyone wins. But now we want to see the best rebellion you got. So tell us how you woke up, but most importantly what you’re doing now that you’re awake. How do you fight the Fed? How do you fight the Police State? How do you resist? Are you protester? A prankster? A hacker? We’ll take whatever you’ve got. Video, audio, text or images. And if you don’t have a good story… well… you’ve got a homework assignment (paging Tyler Durden). Grab a camera and get out there. May the best Rebel win.

Like always you can enter by posting in the comments section below. Or you can post on  or drop us .  We’ll announce the winner next Thursday when we launch the next contest.

About the Author: Davi Barker

In grade school Davi refused to recite the pledge of allegiance because he didn't understand what it meant. He was ordered to do as he was told. In college he spent hours scouring through the congressional record trying to understand this strange machine. That's where he discovered Dr. Ron Paul. In 2007 he joined the End The Fed movement and found a political home with the libertarians. The Declaration of Independence claims that the government derives its power “from the consent of the governed." He does not consent.
