White House bans Photoshopping Obama? Here’s our Top 10.
February 4th, 2013The White House has released this picture of Obama “skeet shooting” at Camp David with the caveat, ”This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.”
Seriously? Do they even know what the Internet is? Here are some of the Top 10 spoofs I’ve found.
I have scoured the Internet, to the highest peaks of Facebook and the darkest depths of Reddit to bring you our Top 10 Obama spoofs.
10) White House needs Tech Support
Ok. Nice work. A little simple, but a good start.
9) South Park
Classic!
Birthday clown Obama
Honestly… this one confuses me… but I just can’t look away.
7) Obama kills Zomeny
Nice photoshop work, but you lost points for being behind the news cycle. Also a caption would have been nice.
6) Duck Hunt
Something for the kids… in the 80s.
5) The Drone
Because we all know Obama’s real weapon of choice.
4) Grand Theft Semi-Auto
Visually strong. A subtle but not overpowering political message. And a pun. Can’t go wrong with a pun. By the way, is that a plane or a drone I see?
3) Agora Daily Standard
Bonus points for creativity. Drones are very popular as a theme.
2) Obama’s high capacity debt limit
What can I say? I’m a sucker for pot shots at paper money.
1) Obama firing a laser cat!
Because really, what’s cooler than cats with frickin’ laser beams coming out of their eyes?
Great work guys. Keep them coming. Feel free to post your favorites in the comments section. And special honor to the brave graphic artists who risked life and limb making fun of stupid prohibitions.
