How to Acquire Silver, and Look Good Doing It
July 21st, 2011This year at FreedomFest, there were many people discussing the latest news on the Federal Reserve, which led many to try to make investments in something other than the dollar. At the Silver Circle booth, that discussion led many people to buy our silver rounds, which we had available. While many customers liked the idea of owning silver, just as many bought our rounds because they looked cool, and they were unique. The aesthetic quality of silver seemed to be as big of a factor as the product itself, and other mints were using the looks of their rounds and items to attract customers. One booth in particular was pushing the beauty of silver in an effort to get people to invest.
The booth was manned by Masterpiece Investments, a Florida-based company that wants to make owning silver look cool. Rather than buying silver certificates or coins, the people here encourage investors to invest in fine art, made from precious metals like silver. Their team of sculptors would make elaborate statues out of silver, and you could buy them as an investment, then watch the item gain in value. It’s the same principle as buying gold or silver, except these are works of art that are worth their weight in silver (and that could be a lot of money in the near future!).
Our rebels are up against a federal government that has banned the private minting of gold of silver, but the rebels recognize the value of silver in a hyper-inflated economy. Maybe they too will have some silver statues around their base as a way of demonstrating their worth. Nothing like a patriotic sculpture that is also a precious metal investment.
