Don't worry, the fed hates to do anything before the elections, so you have at least three months to shore everything up and figure out what you're doing before TSHTF.

Congratulations on having one of the most sophisticated blogs Ive come across in some time! Its just incredible how much you can take away from something simply because of how visually beautiful it is. Youve put together a great blog space –great graphics, videos, layout. This is definitely a must-see blog!

Deflation is the scary term perpetuated by central bankers to keep people in perpetual fear. When people are scared of deflation, it makes it much more palatable to print money and debase the currency.
Governments also hate deflation because it prevents people from continually moving into the higher income brackets for tax reasons. If your salary stays constant, you won't be paying the next marginal dollar to the Government. With inflation, of course, incomes continually rise nominally and those exciting upper tax brackets are able to snare more individuals.
